Strength and Conditioning
WHAT TO EXPECT
Get stronger in a safe environment with our highly educated and experienced coaches. Our program includes classes in conditioning and weightlifting.
Conditioning/Hybrid Fitness training classes (6 days a week). Hybrid fitness training combines different types of exercise to improve strength and endurance, and overall fitness. It typically combines cardio, like running, rowing, and cycling with strength endurance movements. These workouts will get you ready for your next fight, hybrid fitness competition, OCR (obstacle course race), or simply get in shape.
Weightlifting (2 days a week) includes lifts to improve functional strength training overtime, without injury, incorporating both lower body and upper body lifts.
Equipment such as barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, tires, battle ropes, medicine balls, rowers, treadmill, and jump ropes are incorporated into these classes.
All levels are welcome!
weight training
Weight training, also known as strength training or resistance training, involves exercises that use resistance to build muscle strength, endurance, and size. This type of training can be done using free weights like dumbbells and barbells, weight machines, resistance bands, or even body weight.
Key components of weight training include:
Sets and Reps: Exercises are typically performed in a series of repetitions (reps) and sets. For example, you might perform 3 sets of 10 repetitions of a particular exercise.
Progressive Overload: Gradually increasing the amount of weight or resistance used in exercises to continue challenging the muscles and promote growth and strength gains.
Variety of Exercises: Targeting different muscle groups through a variety of exercises, such as squats, bench presses, deadlifts, and rows, to ensure balanced muscle development.
Rest and Recovery: Allowing adequate rest between sets and workouts to give muscles time to recover and grow stronger.
Form and Technique: Emphasizing proper form and technique to maximize effectiveness and minimize the risk of injury.
Weight training can be tailored to different fitness goals, whether it’s building muscle mass, increasing strength, improving athletic performance, or enhancing overall fitness.

Fitness Competition Team
A fitness training competition is an event where individuals or teams compete in various physical challenges that test strength, endurance, agility, and overall fitness. These competitions can range from obstacle courses and weightlifting to endurance races and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions. Participants are often judged on their performance, technique, and time, with awards given to those who excel in different categories. These events promote physical fitness, camaraderie, and personal achievement.
